Marilisa Granzotto, FranchiseeMarilisa Granzotto and Steve Martin are a team on and off the dance floor and have been co-franchisees of the Ottawa dance studio since 1990. As a member of the World Professional Dance Teachers Association (WPDTA), Marilisa has been an active instructor, competitor and judge. However, her most rewarding role is seeing her students light up through the art of dance! |

Steve Martin, FranchiseeSteve has been dancing and teaching professionally for over 20 years. Award-winning and accomplished at many forms of dance, Steve is a certified Master Examiner with the World professional Dance Teachers Association and is a member of the World Association of Judges and Teachers. In addition to co-owning the dance studio, Steve is the owner of The Gladstone, Ottawa’s premiere theatre experience. |

Jessica Visnevskis, Front Desk AdministratorJessica Visnevskis started with the Arthur Murray Studio in Ottawa in 2000. She originally came to the studio as a co-op student, and enjoyed it so much, she made the studio a more permanent home. Jessica loves getting to know students and learning how dancing enriches their lives. She loves organizing dance events and taking care of all of the studio’s day to day activities. |

Vadim Safonov, InstructorVadim Safonov started dancing at the age of 7 and has been teaching dance for more than 16 years. He has choreographed many dance routines for different styles and levels of dancing. Vadim joined Arthur Murray in Montreal in 2007 and has since successfully trained many students. Vadim competes with his partner Alina Sofonova in the Professional Latin category. He obtained his professional dance teacher diplomas from The Russian Dance Union, College of Cultural and State Pedagogical University. His passion is to share the benefits of dancing with as many people a possible. He looks forward to sharing it with you! |

Alina Safonov, InstructorAlina began her love of the arts as a child studying ballet, modern, ballroom dance and piano. She chose to pursue ballroom dancing. Alina loves bringing her wealth of knowledge in the other styles of dancing into ballroom. She believes that dancing can change peoples lives in many different ways. Alina enjoys helping students to achieve their personal and dancing goals. She graduated as choreographer from College of Arts followed by completing her degree at State Pedagogical University. Alina is actively competing with her partner Vadim Sofonov in the Professional Latin division, in Canada and the US. Through many coaching lessons with World Class Instructors, she is acquiring a significant amount of technical and teaching expertise that she loves to share with her students. She is fulfilling her dreams and is helping to make the dreams of others come true through dance. |

Cathy Geen, Front Desk AdministrationCathy has been with the Arthur Murray’s Ottawa since 1997. During that time, she has had held various responsibilities, including office manager and most recently, book keeper. After time away to spend with her children, Cathy returned to the dynamic and enjoyable atmosphere of the studio. She is happy to be back and working with students. Cathy is one of the friendly and helpful voices that provide the public and students with information on dance instruction & events. |

Kaity SchertzbergKaity Schertzberg can be recognized by her welcoming smile and caring disposition. She believes learning to dance is more than where to place your feet. It is an experience that benefits each person in their own special way. Ensuring each person learns to dance through achieving their personal benefits, while making it fun and easy, is her tried and true philosophy. This ballroom dancer and instructor loves to see the personal growth and happiness that dancing brings to all her students‘ lives. |
